Gas Discharge Tube Arresters (GDT)

Gas discharge tube is a type of protection component, which has been widely used in lightning protection of communication system. The discharge tube is usually used in the first or first two stages of the multistage protection circuit to discharge the lightning instantaneous overcurrent and limit the overvoltage. Commonly-used gas discharge tube has two - pole discharge tube and three - pole discharge tube. Its enclosure material is mostly ceramic, so it is called ceramic discharge tube.
