SAW Filters

SAW filters, also called surface acoustic wave filters, are implemented by surface acoustic wave devices. Its operating frequency range is about 107 ~ 109Hz. Surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices have been increasingly widely used in industrial and military equipment. It is small in size, firm in structure, wide in frequency band, and can be mass produced, so it can solve many signal processing problems well. It can be used in VHF/UHF and L-band subsystems to greatly reduce its size, complexity and power consumption. Narrowband filtering and stabilization of direct or phase locked oscillators are particular applications of such devices.
