Himax Technologies designs semiconductors as an integral part of flat panel displays. The main products are large size TFT-LCD panels, which are small and medium size TFT-LCD panels used in desktop computer monitors, notebooks and TVs, display drives used in mobile phones ,and display drives for consumer electronics，such as laptops, digital cameras, mobile gaming devices, portable DVD players, digital photo frames and car navigation displays. Himax is expanding its product to timing controllers, chipset solutions for LCD TVs and monitors, LCOS projector solutions, power management ICs, CMOS image sensors, Infinite Color Technology and 2D to 3D solutions.
