Delay Lines

A component or device used to delay an electrical signal for a period of time is called a delay line. Optical fiber communication has the advantages of wide band, low loss, anti-interference and good confidentiality, but the structure of optical fiber delay line is quite complex and difficult to integrate. Such components are widely used in more precise oscilloscope, color television, electronic computer, industrial process control, modern radar system and other fields. Several common types of delay lines are: coaxial cable delay line, ultrasonic delay line.
