Fuses

Fuse generally has three parts: melt part, electrode part and bracket part. The melt is the core of the fuse because it cuts off the current when it blows. Electrode part is an indispensable part of melt and circuit connection, so the electrode part must have good conductivity. The support part must have good mechanical intensity, insulation, heat resistance and flame resistance. It mainly plays the role of overload protection. The correct placement of the fuse in the circuit means that the fuse will be abnormal current rise to a certain height and heat, then cut off its own current to protect the operation of the circuit. Fuses protect electronic/power equipment from current/overheating and prevent serious damage caused by internal faults.
