RF switches are the devices to route high-frequency signals through the transmission path. Rf switches are widely used in microwave test systems to route signals between instruments and equipment under test. Combining switches into a switch matrix system enables the routing of signals from multiple instruments to a single or multiple DUTs. This allows multiple tests to be executed in the same setting without frequent connections and disconnections. The entire testing process can be automated to improve throughput in a high-volume production environment.
